Icarus Ref

Icarus is an RP character I just began developing.  He's got two different 'major' stories -which will be twisted as I put him into more RPs.

------Adventurous------
When Icarus doesn't have to work -or isn't roped into some crazy idea by friends- he will try to do anything to get himself up and out of the hangar.  His nickname, in fact, was due to his attempt to fly as high as he possibly could in his early years, which he ended up doing quite a bit of damage to himself in doing so.  He has an obsession with wildlife, as well, and has a way with animals.

------Kind------
Unless exhausted or pushed to his very limits, Icarus is a very agreeable plane.  He's patient with trainees, and can be rather silly and goofy with them if he feels he needs to lighten the mood.  He's quick to make friends and slow to make enemies -but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a good load of frienemies.

------Independent------
Independence is one of the things he charishes most dearly.  He doesn't like being told what to do by anyone less than a friend, and will still dig his wheels in if directly ordered.  This can sometimes be pushed into the zone of being stupid and stubborn, unwilling to follow commands in the most irritated of moods.

------Fun-loving------
Icarus loves to poke fun, but doesn't do it in hate, but in a way to say he cares.  His wry remarks can sometimes sound snarky, but his intentions are only for laughs and smiles.  He's sarcastic as well, and likes to be a smart alec, but will also poke fun at himself.  He'll laugh at himself easily, but doesn't take kindly to deliberate attempts to mock him.

------Strict------
His one rule is respect when he's training younger planes.  Respect to him, the other instructors, each of their peers, and themselves.  There is a difference between innoceint jokes and actual insults, and he doesn't respond well if that line is crossed.  So long as his trainees are behaved and don't cause trouble, he'll make training as enjoyable as possible, but if you cross the line... be prepared for full on military training.

------Lazy------
He isn't so much lazy when it comes to work as when, well, it comes to the rest of the time.  Although he'd much rather be out and about than sitting in front of a television screen, he'll neglect small things... and procrastinate until the last minute.  Since his time as a military trainer, this nature has faded some, but it is still very blatent some days.
History: Icarus was born (and in some RPs, raised) in Australia, not as a first generation fighter, but as a purebred second gen plane -therefore being able to skip out on wartime expiriences.  He was, however, trained to be a flight instructor (partial deafness that could not be fixed prevented him from participating in the RAAF beyond that).  His decision to move to America was the one that lead him to Luke Air Force Base as a flight instructor, where he served in the short time Jake Wingston lived up to present time.  {In some RPs he might have stayed in Australia}
Other Notes: Icarus has a case of profound unilateral hearing loss, in which he cannot hear on his left side.  Although corrections to solve this issue has been made, his auditory ability will not and can not be repaired.  He, for the most part, must be looking and reading your lips in order to understand you.  His voice is extrememly loud compaired to normal volume.

Okay... the numbers and letters on his tail literally have no meaning beyond to be able to identify him.  I chose TKD due to the fact I've got Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport stuck in my head.
