Primus Help Us

There were only five of them now, against a whole ship of Decepticons.  Cliffjumper was gone, snuffed and mutilated.  With each loss came a further feeling of doubt.  How could they, five mere Autobots, defeat the forces of the Decepticons on their own?  Of course, Optimus would not allow his teammates to see the grief and worry painted in his eyes.  Even as he walked quietly in the moonlit night, he dare not allow his emotions to control him.  He needed to be strong, for his team, for the Autobots scattered across the galaxy... for all the former residents of Cybertron.

He may have been a Prime, but at this moment... he felt anything but.  "Primus, help us..." he whispered under his breath.

As much as I (dare I say it) dislike Optimus Prime, he's grown on me.  I still feel he's overpowered, but I've developed in my mind a version of him that's not quite that infallible leader he's known for being.

More Dragon! Transformers because I've fallen in love with their dragon designs.  XD
